Our company commenced in 1989 as Apollo Sports, wholesaling dive gear to the growing New Zealand market. Ten years later we were importing many leading international brands and renamed the company Pinnacle Sports in 1999. Pinnacle Sports remains one of the largest importers, manufacturers and distributors of dive gear in this country and we export products – including our in-house brand Atlantis – to other Pacific nations. In 2001, Splash was born. We developed this website to communicate our message to divers in New Zealand and around the world. Our name may have changed, but our passion to provide the best equipment and services for divers never has.
Through our suppliers and their vast research and design facilities, we're able to turn ideas into state-of-the art diving equipment. We always think long and hard about what’s important to divers, like comfortable breathing, movement and sight. As engineers, we look at the technical aspects of materials and designs, and ask what works best? As innovators, we always seek ways of doing things better. And finally as divers, we thoroughly test our equipment to ensure maximum reliability is achieved.
