The obvious factors you need to consider are fit, comfort and the main type of diving you are doing.

For shore divers we would recommend a 'hard-grip' sole like the Atlantis Legacy B20 whilst boat divers are recommended a non-marking rubber sole like the Atlantis Quest B10. We also offer reefshoes suitable for snorkelling and a selection of neoprene socks for freediving.

A key point to look out for is the type of zip that is on the boot.  A heavy duty #10 YKK zip is a must for New Zealand conditions plus it is recommend that the zip goes all the way down to the sole to assist with ease of foot entry.

Finally make sure your boot has a full heel and toe cap for greater protection and that the seams are glued, stitched and taped for extra durability.
