DIVE RITE NOMAD BUTTPLATE & BUNGEE KIT

The Nomad Buttplate and Bungees allows divers who wish to transform their existing TransPac harness and buoyancy compensating wing into a rig capable of sidemounting tanks. The Nomad buttplate weaves through standard 2-inch harness webbing on the waist strap and is locked tight into place using stainless steel TransPac assembly screws through slots on the backplate. Once tanks are mounted on the buttplate, they are held in place by the Nomad tank bungees, which run from a D-ring or similar attachment point on the back of the upper shoulders to a standard shoulder D-ring on the front of the harness. Tank bungees are available in 15-inch length for petite divers, 17-inch standard length for most all divers and 19-inch for very large, broad-chest divers. Made in the U.S.A.

Butt plate made of reinforced nylon to provide the proper amount of rigidity to hold tanks in position and eliminate sag.

Two stainless steel handles are used for tank attachment, with a nylon webbing tail for attaching crotch strap. A stainless steel D-ring comes mounted on webbing for optional clip-off point for accessories, such as reels.

Nylon cord bungees with stainless steel clips and quick release snaps are used to secure tanks to harness. Available in 15-inch, 17-inch and 19-inch sizes. Standard size for most adults is 17-inch. Petite divers may prefer 15-inch bungees while XXL-size individuals or those with very broad chests may prefer 19-inch.
